Ouest-France dedicates an article to AlloIA, the start-up based between Caen and Quebec, where its head office is located. AlloIA’s solution helps e-merchants structure their catalogs and storefronts so they are readable and usable by artificial intelligence models, at a time when AI is increasingly used by consumers before making a purchase.

“Today, AI ignores most products, gets them wrong, or recommends a competitor,” explains Laurent Boyer, co-founder of AlloIA in charge of the start-up’s development in Europe from Caen.

A business model built around AI visibility

AlloIA’s platform connects to CMS and online stores. Access to the platform is free, with the business model based on an optional dashboard priced at €65 per month. It allows companies to better understand their AI-related sales cycle: number of visitors, sales made through this channel, and which products appear in AI answers. Additional plans are being structured.

Acceleration and a funding round

Several markets are targeted: web agencies, growth marketing agencies, SEO agencies, and e-merchants. AlloIA reports its first clients in Normandy. To accelerate, the start-up is preparing a first funding round of $4M (€3.5M) by the end of 2026.

AlloIA has joined the French Tech Normandie and Normandie Numérique ecosystem, and sits on the board of the Agentic AI Foundation, created in connection with the Linux Foundation to structure standards around AI agents.
